  • Hello-

I'm a teacher in Calgary, Alberta helping a group of grade 8 students at my school conduct a global survey on worldviews. I'm wondering if you might be willing to take this survey (less than 5 mins) and perhaps spread it around - particularly with your students. We're trying to get as many non-North American respondents as we can.

You can get to the survey by clicking here.

Thanks so much for your consideration!
  • Wow! I can't imagine having 40 kids - I have 30 and I think it's almost impossible to teach them. Most of my classes are just one grade. I teach one class of all 14 year old 9th graders (Earth Science), one class of 12 year old 7th graders (Science Research), and two classes of 10th and 11th graders (Earth Science). How many classes do you teach? Do you have access to instructional technology? We just got projectors in my school today, I'm so excited to use them!
  • Thanks for adding me. I considered being a math teacher at first but then decided on science. Do you use any technology when you teach math? I use all different types of methods. My school does not have a lot of technology so I use handouts, group work, and science experiments for most of our learning strategies. What type of teaching methods do you use? Do you have technology in your school? How many students are in each of your classes? Are they all the same age?

  • What areas of curriculum are you interested in? I do Foreign Language. I teach Spanish along with five other teachers at our upper school (ages 14-18). In our department we also teach French (three teachers), Latin (two teachers), and Chinese (1 teacher). We teach everything from basic language to advanced language and conversation.
