im a freelance English teacher which has its pros and cons:) i like people, teaching them is a great responsibility and privilege. Washington DC is my favorite city. I like waterskiing , playing music, travelling and spending time with my family. BTW, I studied French at university :)

    Hello Katie: Thanks for joining Global Visits. Have you been to the web site? It is a very easy site to use for lnking classrooms together, with the all the same capability of facebook, bnt focused on educational and cultural exchange between students and teachers. What levels do you teach?

    By the way, I have not been to Russian, but did spend a year in Central Asia (Kyrgyzstan) as a visiting academic and took Russian. I loved it, but have to admit I have a poor capacity with languages. I wish I had time to focus on the Russian language.

    Privet from New York Katie! My husband, Vladimir, is Russian. He's from Minsk. I only know a little Russian. We don't have a Russian language class in our school, but perhaps we could do something cultural, in social studies or in literature. What project are you working on? Thank you for leaving me a message. Let's see what we can do.
